Taking Holidays in Term Time

The Academy strongly urges parents to avoid booking family holidays during term time as this can have a detrimental effect on a student’s progress and attainment.  There is no automatic entitlement in law to time off school to go on holiday during term time.  The Academy will not authorise any absence for holiday taken during term time.
